North Lawrence Fish & Game and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife will be offering a Learn to shoot handgun training class.  Scheduled on the following Sunday listed below, at NLFG Club House from 9:00 am to approximately 3:00 pm.  With so many new people getting into handgun shooting for sport and personal protection, we want to help get you off to the right start.  This class is offered free of charge.  Current ownership of a handgun is not required to take this course.  Delaying your purchase until after the class should be of benefit in helping you make the proper purchase.  22 Target pistols and ammunition will be available for use at no cost in this class.

We will cover safety, selection of firearms, proper manipulation and maintenance of your firearm, ammunition selection and proper hold and stance with live range time.

Requirements:

  • Proper ammunition for your handgun.
  • Eye protection (glasses if you wear them and or safety glasses).  Furnished if needed.
  • Hearing protection (ear plugs or ear muffs).  Furnished if needed.
